This time, the cooperation project of MKM, Microsoft, the University of Tartu Clinic and the University of Tartu was introduced, where the robot helps relieve the burden of medical workers when working with children, and the results of machine translation development by  MTee.

The private sector presented their value propositions Microsoft and STACC.

At least 50 new crates will be introduced in the public sector in the coming years

The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications sent Estonia's artificial intelligence strategy or Kratikava for the years 2022-2023 to public consultation. The aim of the plan is to encourage the introduction of crates and thereby improve the competitiveness of companies, the quality and availability of e-services, and the efficiency of the state.

Artificial intelligence in healthcare

EIT Health and McKinsey & Company have released a report, “Renovating Healthcare with Artificial Intelligence: Impact on the Workforce and Organizations,” which represents the growing need for data literacy among healthcare professionals. who is needed to exploit the full potential of artificial intelligence. Estonian museums are moving towards the introduction of crates

In cooperation with the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications and the Heritage Protection Board, the first museum hackathon took place, the aim of which was to put artificial intelligence or kratt to work for museum exhibitions and audience programs. The Estonian Natural History Museum won Häkaton with the idea of developing the museum's educational programs in a more personalized way, based on the student's skills and interests.

The first and new type of crate born from the cooperation of the private and public sectors reached the code repository

The first base component of an application based on artificial intelligence, i.e. krati, has been added to the code repository of the Estonian digital country, which can be reused for text analysis for free and further developed according to their needs by all public and private sector interested parties. The so-called sandbox cooperation model created for this purpose will in the future give the private sector opportunities to develop new digital solutions together with the state and bring them to the market in a wider area than in the field of crates.

Researchers are investigating the possibilities of using artificial intelligence in the provision of public services

The Estonian Science Agency signed an agreement with a research consortium that is looking for ways to develop public services supported by machine learning and artificial intelligence. It is a study financed by the RITA program "Possibilities of using artificial intelligence in e-governance", which will be jointly conducted by the University of Tartu, Tallinn University of Technology, Cybernetica AS and the Software Development Center STACC over the course of two years. The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications and the State Chancellery will use the survey results in the development of e-government.
